Rare Russian Gold Egg Pendant, circa 1910
Of classic fluted gold design, fitted with a gold suspension ring. From the Romanov era, this egg is reminiscent of the recently discovered (2013) Fabergé egg that Tsar Alexander III gave to his wife, Empress Maria Feodorovna on Easter morning in 1887.
St. Petersburg, 1908-1917, stamped with a French control mark on inner ring.
