Charming miniature silver Rococo style pedestal table made at the turn of the last century for a doll house. In the Romantic taste, the shaped circular tabletop of repoussé silver recalling paintings by the French 17th century artist Watteau features a standing lady in a landscape gazing upon a seated figure who is turned away, framed by a scrolling border. The pedestal stand of scrolling and foliate capped design. This table was probably made for a dollhouse. Collecting miniature silver furniture was a popular pastime when it was made.
