Russian Imperial-era Brass Samovar Set by V. L. Batashev, Tula, circa 1900

Of typical form in the Russian imperial style, a classic samovar set tooled in brass comprising a brass samovar, drip bowl and tray by Tula samovar masters, V.L. Batashev. The samovar cylindrical with turned wooden drop handles on a square pedestal base, the front of lid stamped with Russian seals, the shaped tray with raised ledge, with circular drip bowl. Decorative only, and not recommended for use to brew tea.
