Russian Cloisonné Enameled Walking Stick Handle, Late 19th Century
The capstan-shaped handle from the Romanov era, period of Tsar Nicholas II, decorated with vari-colored enamel scrolling foliage, florets, beaded and geometric motifs on silver, attached to a later tapered stick.
Moscow, late 19th century, probably by Ovchinnikov but unmarked.
The handle-2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm) high; top 1 ¾ in. (4.4 cm) diam., length of walking stick including handle: 36 in. (91.4 cm).
