Russian Reeded Gold Easter Egg Pendant, circa 1910

A beautiful and original Russian miniature gold egg pendant from the Romanov era, period of Tsar Nicholas II, of classic fluted 14k rose gold design with a gold suspension ring.

St. Petersburg, 1908-1917, stamped with a French control mark on inner ring, possibly by Fabergé.

1 in. (2.5 cm.) long, including ring. Egg alone measures 1/2 in. (1.3 cm) long. Chain not included. In a period Russian red leather egg box.

This egg is similar in design to the Fabergé Imperial Egg that Tsar Alexander III gave to Empress Maria Feodorovna in 1887.
