Russian Nicholas I Romanov Eagle Cufflinks by Marie Betteley

Nicholas I Romanov eagle cufflinks in gilded silver, each depicting Russian imperial eagle with downturned wings below a single Romanov crown in the Neoclassical version made famous by Tsar Nicholas I (1825-55). Based on a European 19th century cufflink design, each top link features rounded corners and beveled borders. These are attached by a fixed curved section to smaller oval back links that flip down to slip easily into the cuff.

Designed by Marie Betteley, 2006.

Top links measure 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. (1.9 x 1.3 cm.). Distance between top and back link: .6 in. (1.5 cm.)
