A Russian Imperial Eagle Pendant inspired by the official Romanov Imperial Warrant in gilded silver. A faithful rendition of Imperial Russia’s most enduring symbol, this version of the eagle was introduced under Tsar Alexander III (1881-94). The emblem was used by Fabergé and Imperial jewellers to denote important presentation gifts by order of the Russian court. On a gilded silver chain.
