Gold and Diamond Line Bracelet, Netherlands, 19th Century

Elegant 19th century gold bangle, the top is prong-set with fifteen Old European-cut diamonds, evenly matched and graduated in size, and two rose diamonds on each end revealing a continuous line of sparkling diamonds. The hinged 14k gold bracelet is of polished yellow gold design typical of Dutch goldwork of the late 19th century.

Stamped with Dutch hallmark, 19th century, probably Amsterdam.

The diamond section measures 2 in. (5.1 cm) across, 1/4 in. (.6 cm) wide at the widest point; interior of opening measures 2 1/4 x 1 7/8 in. (5.7 x 4.8 cm).
