1810s French Napoleonic Era 18k Gold Leaf on Glass Pendant, Paris

Of etched gold leaf on glass (fr. verre églomisé), depicting the figure of Eros holding a torch in a wooded landscape, the frame attached to three small gold chains joined by a central ring, mounted in 18k gold. The reverse with a vacant compartment covered by glass. Chain not included.

Paris, 1799-1819, hallmarked.

Pendant alone: 1 7/16 in. (3.5 cm) long, 1 1/8 in.(2.9 cm) wide, 1/8 in. (.3 cm) high; overall length: 2 1/2 in. (6.4 cm).
