French Enamel and Diamond Gold Brooch, circa 1905
Of neoclassical design, this French 18k gold pin is decorated with translucent cobalt blue enamel over an etched herringbone ground, applied with a ribbon-tied rose diamond floral garland within a white enamel border edged in diamonds. The reverse is engraved with a quiver of arrows, symbol of love.
