English Bow Watch Pin Suspending Russian Archangel Egg

A Victorian pin designed as an 18k yellow gold bow on a 14k rose gold pin, suspending a Russian hand-painted porcelain gilded egg pendant, depicting on one side a colourful archangel, on the other, a clock dial.

The pin circa 1890, the egg pendant, from St. Petersburg, Russia, contemporary.

Pin 1 ½ in. wide (3.8 cm); bow: ¾ in. (1.9 cm) wide. Swivel stamped 9c.
