1880s Russian Silver Cigarette Case, St. Petersburg

A Russian silver cigarette case from the Romanov era, period of Tsar Alexander III, with rounded corners, the cover reads in raised Cyrillic lettering “Na Pamniet” for “In Memory of” within bands, the reverse with a vacant crest. Fitted with a silver spring-mounted push piece.
